LEAD DESIGNER FOR THIRD & BIRD AND WONDER PETS
On staff for more than 4 years at Little Airplane, my primary responsibilities included designing photo-based backgrounds of environments around the world, and fun animal characters. As a lead designer, I was responsible for completing a heavy scene load each episode under tight deadlines; creating visually exciting and beautiful environments; and working with other departments such as photography, storyboard, blocking, animation and edit. Additionally, I illustrated many Wonder Pets books for various publishing houses, guest-directed for Wonder Pets and Third & Bird, and also lead the design segment of our studio tour.

SENIOR DESIGNER
Managed a team of four designers and oversaw the design of Blue‘s Clues episodes. Worked with designers to achieve the design aesthetic of the show. Instructed and trained new designers in Photoshop and After Effects for show needs. Created and maintained schedules for designers to ensure timely delivery of work. Lead layout and design viewings. Acted as liason, attended meetings with, and responded to needs of the Art, Animation, Edit, and Research Departments. Worked closely with the Art Department from concept to design. Attended art approvals and camera shoots. Designed difficult scenes and special environments. Also assisted Animation department with character and credit animation in After Effects.
